If you have would like to serve within WMBC, we have a variety of different ministries and programs where you can be involved. Our ministry teams are a great way to build meaningful relationships and to use the gifts that God has given you.

Children’s Ministries
Our children are at the bottom of the chronological life chain but are at times at the top of the living the abundant life chain that Jesus spoke of. If you have a passion for working with children and have a desire to see yourself living out the great commission here in Winkler, with the children of southern Manitoba.
Youth Ministries
The WMBC Youth Ministry is a dynamic place where relationships thrive and people are challenged. Together we look at God’s word and explore ways that it can be applied to daily decisions as we live life together. If you have noticed that God is nudging you to get involved with the youth or young adults.
Ushering Team
The ushering team at WMBC is essential to our weekly worship services. The team is responsible for passing out bulletins, welcoming and directing people to their seats, and collecting the tithes.
Technical Team
The technical team at WMBC ensures that our weekly worship services run smoothly. They look after various technical aspects of the morning which include some of the various items: stage set-up, running Easy Worship with our data projector, video-taping,and audio recordings. We also assist where we can with various events and items in the church throughout the week as we are able to. Our goal as a team is to model Christ’s servant heart to others through the assistance we provide. Should you feel that this is something that you would like to know more about or something that God is call you to be involved in, feel free to stop by the sound booth.
Communication Team
The Communication team at WMBC is in charge of our monthly newsletter The Pulse and our church website.
Drama Team
Missing Piece Productions Drama Ministry uses drama as a form of worship to bring people into an awareness of who God is.
Music Teams
At WMBC we have a number of different music teams that offer a variety of different music styles. We want to ensure that God is the primary object of worship, not the music. God should be primary: not the music performance, style, or instrumentation. In our culture and time, people equate worship with music; we want the singing element of our worship to once again be a continuation of our lifestyle of worship.
G-Force
G-Force Auto Ministry fixes up donated cars for people in need in our community. If you like working on cars and would like to be apart of the G-Force team let us know!
Library Team
Come and check out the WMBC library which offers a variety of different spiritual, educational and entertainment options for everyone. We have an assortment of books from fiction to biography/true stories, study books, family and personal help books. We also have a number of videos and DVDs for children and family viewing. The cost to rent a movie is $1, which goes towards the purchase of new products to keep out library current with relevant products.
Global Outreach
The GO Team’s ACTS strategy is to bring Awareness to WMBC of global issues, to Commit to specific missionaries and projects, to Transfer people and resources to those in need, and to give Sacrificially of our time, money, and talents. If you have a heart for tackling global issues and building God’s kingdom, this is a great to serve.
Women’s Ministries
Women’s Ministries at WMBC wants to lead women to knowing Jesus and passionately following him. If you would like to be apart of our Women’s Ministries team or be involved in helping new moms or brides, let us know.
Seniors Ministry
Our senior’s ministry provides friendship and spiritual care for seniors in our community through visitation and a weekly Bible Study.
Refreshment Committee
The Refreshment Committee at WMBC is in charge of the delicious food and drinks served during some of our functions throughout the WMBC year.
Small Group Leader
Each small group has a leader (or a team of leaders) who work at creating an environment for life change – facilitate the group times, care for group members, look for opportunities for spiritual growth and service. To start a group, help existing leaders, or for more information, contact the church office.
Recovery Ministries
DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids are Christ-centered adult and children support groups that allow families that are experiencing the pain and hurt of divorce or separation find healing in a group setting with people that understand what they are going through.
Finance/Administration Team
The finance/administration team is responsible for the bills and budgeting of WMBC. They are responsible for the maintenance of our facilities and are the personnel committee for WMBC staff. If you would like to become apart of the team, or give financially to WMBC, contact the church office.
Providing Meals
This ministry serves the WMBC community by providing meals for a family during an illness or death.
