Junior Youth

Gr. 7-8

Junior high youth is run weekly on Thursdays from 7:15-9:00pm. These weekly youth night will be spent learning, and worshiping this amazing God that we serve. We have monthly game nights, monthly small group nights, and 2 lesson nights a month.

This years focus will be on the bible! Seems fairly straight forward eh? Study the bible in youth group… but we are going about it perhaps a bit different than usual. This year we will be going through the bible from start to finish taking out key stories and learning that God’s  story isn’t over. Digging deep into the word of God and finding truth and meaning and everyday relevance in what was written so long ago. The bible is a powerful tool that we hope to teach the next generation to use. This focus of “storying” will lead the youth to understand God’s grace, love, and redemption in this negative, discouraging world.
